We are, unashamedly, a relationship-driven church. If you want to get involved at CBC, we will point you to people, not programs. That being said, there are a couple primary ways we encourage newcomers to connect with the people of CBC.
Our community groups meet in homes throughout the area during the week. These groups usually consist of about 10-12 adults and serve to facilitate time together, time for discussion (around Scripture, a Christian book, or even a confession of faith), and outreach.
DNA stands for “Discipleship. Nourishment. Accountability.” These groups usually consist of three adults of the same sex who meet regularly for those purposes. DNA groups serve the greater mission of CBC to create a culture of compassionate accountability as we follow Jesus together.
In Christ, we have access to God, and he has told us to pray to him all the time–about all kinds of things. We take great comfort in knowing that God is always faithful to hear and answer the prayers of his people. We gather every Sunday at 9:30am to pray about various things in the life of our church and in the lives of our people.
