COMMUNITY
We are, unashamedly, a relationship-driven church. If you want to get involved at CBC, we will point you to people, not programs. That being said, we do provide several structured opportunities for people to connect.
COME EARLY AND STAY LATE
CBC Pre-Service from 9:30-10:00am is a time of coffee and conversation. In addition to this, our people tend to hang around after service to talk with each other. Plans to get together often flow out of this time.
PRAYER MEETING
In Christ, we have access to God, and he has told us to pray to him all the time–about all kinds of things. We take great comfort in knowing that God is always faithful to hear and answer the prayers of his people. We meet every Sunday at 9:00am to pray about various things in the life of our church and in the lives of our people.
GRACIOUS PURSUIT
Gracious Pursuit is the women’s ministry at CBC. Gracious Pursuit meets for coffee on the second Saturday morning of every month for intentional conversation. Other informal meetings and studies are also available. All female members are welcomed to participate, as well as any female visitors ages 12 and up are welcome and encouraged to come.
CBC CONNECT
CBC CONNECT is a time of intentional fellowship with a small group (6-8) of CBC members that meets one night a month. The goal of CBC CONNECT is to facilitate meaningful relationship growth and support among the group members. In order to accomplish this, a safe environment is necessary, and so these groups are for CBC members only.
