Joshua grew up in Jeffersonville, IN—a small town across the river from Louisville, KY. The Lord saved Joshua when he was a freshman in college. He then pursued a B.S. in counseling from Boyce College, where he also met his late wife, Jennifer. They then had two children, Holland and Tillie. Joshua earned his M.A. in biblical and pastoral studies from Bethlehem Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. The Vallejos’ moved to South Asheville to be close to family at the end of 2017 after discovering Jennifer had breast cancer. Joshua founded Restoration Counseling Center of Asheville in 2018, where he works as the Executive Director and a counselor. Jennifer passed away on February 22nd, 202o after a long, hard-fought battle against cancer. Joshua is pleased to serve CBC in an administrative capacity.
Joshua enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, the great outdoors, sports, CrossFit, reading, good coffee, and great food.
