We gather every Sunday morning at 10:30am for our corporate worship service. We aim for our services to be appropriately reverent, weighty, and joyful. They are also simple—we just do the things God tells us to do in his word when we gather. What are those things?
Read the Bible
We read God’s word out loud at several points in our services. Every Sunday there is a Scriptural call to worship, Scripture reading, and benediction, in addition to the reading of the sermon passage.
Preach the Bible
We preach expositional sermons from passages of Scripture, where the main points of the sermon are the main points of the passage. It is our aim to proclaim, explain, apply, and rejoice over the truth contained in God’s word every Sunday.
Pray the Bible
We pray several corporate prayers during our services. Each week, we have a prayer of praise, a prayer of confession, and a pastoral prayer. In the prayer of praise, we simply praise God for who he is. In the prayer of confession, we confess our sins to God and ask him to forgive us. In the pastoral prayer, we demonstrate how much we depend upon God by bringing our requests to him. These are all things God tells us to pray in his word.
Sing the Bible
We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to one another in our services. We sing really old songs, really new songs, and everything in between. We do not emphasize particular styles of music, but rather the biblical truth contained in the songs we sing.
See the Bible
God has given us two visible displays of his gospel: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We do baptisms as often as needed, in which people publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ and identify with him in his life, death, and resurrection. We take the Lord’s Supper every Sunday, in which we remember what Jesus accomplished for us at the cross and look forward to his second coming.
Childcare is provided for children 3 and under during our Sunday morning services.
